Thousands of protesters marched to the White House in Washington on Saturday. The protesters held a sit-in there to ask US President Joe Biden to strengthen the defense of the constitutional right to abortion. Thus they risked being arrested, but that did not happen. Since the US Supreme Court ended the constitutional right to abortion, states can decide individually whether or not to ban abortion: several states have already done so.
