A huge drug pharmacy, a firearm and an object that looks like a Kalashnikov (a machine gun) were found earlier this year in a garage in Chaam. The police announced this on Friday evening after questions from Omroep Brabant. A 33-year-old man from Chaam was arrested.
The police already invaded the building on Dorpsstraat on 22 February, but she did not announce that before. Cocaine, ketamine, GHB, XTC and tens of thousands of pills of different types of drugs and medication were found during the raid.
There was also a firearm present and “an equal -looking object like a Kalashnikov,” said a police spokeswoman. A 33 year old man from Chaam was arrested.
The find is for the municipality of Alphen-Chaam reason to lock the building for a year. This means that until 8 May 2026 it is forbidden to use or enter the storage.
