Thousands of euros in cash and hemp drying found, four arrested

During searches, police found thousands of euros in cash and an inactive hemp dryer Thursday morning. Four men have been arrested. Police tracked them down after messages were intercepted in an investigation into cryptophones.

A total of seven buildings were searched in Breda, Oosterhout and Etten-Leur. In addition to the money and the hemp dryer, telephones, valuables and vehicles were also seized.

The Support Group of the Zeeland-West-Brabant police arrested the four suspects in their homes in Breda and Oosterhout on Monday morning. The suspects are two 28-year-old men from Breda, a 33-year-old man from Breda and a 24-year-old man from Oosterhout. Three of the suspects are brothers.

crypto telephones
The police traced the men to information that emerged from an investigation into communication via crypto telephones last year. The chats showed that the men committed criminal offenses in 2020 in the field of soft and hard drugs and money laundering.
