Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart and midfielder Erik Thommy will go their separate ways in the future. The club announced this.
Accordingly, both sides have agreed not to extend the 27-year-old’s contract beyond the summer. Thommy has played for VfB since January 2018. In the 2019/2020 season he was temporarily loaned to Fortuna Düsseldorf.
Thommy played a total of 52 Bundesliga games for Stuttgart and made two appearances in the DFB Cup.
