He is the veteran at FC Bayern: Thomas Müller. His contract with the record champions actually runs until the summer of 2023. But does Müller maybe make the jump before that? According to “Bild”, two clubs, Everton and Newcastle United, are interested in the German international.
Mueller gone? Actually unimaginable. In an interview with “Sport Bild” he said that he did not want to end his career before 2025. “I definitely want to play football at the top level by 2025. Things are going really well right now and I’m having a lot of fun on the pitch. That’s why I’m not thinking about retiring for a long time,” said Müller.
As the longest-serving professional of the German record champions, Thomas Müller is in his 14th year in the Bundesliga. There have not yet been any talks about an extension at Bayern beyond 2023. “I approach things very calmly and at the same time with self-confidence. No one has approached me from the club so far, so you have to see what the future holds,” said the 2014 world champion.
