Thomas Bretscher takes on the role of the Commercial Director Central Europe at Gant.
Bretscher announced his new role in the Swedish clothing provider on Sunday at the LinkedIn career network. He has been active for the brand belonging to the Swiss fashion group MF Brands Group since November 2023, most recently Director Wholesale Central Europe. In addition to wholesale business, he now also takes responsibility for the retail area including outlet in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
Bretscher headed his advisory company Blue Ocean Consulting, which is aimed at consumer goods and fashion companies in front of Gant. Before that, he was active at the Hamburg clothing provider Tom Tailor for almost nine years, most recently as a country manager for Germany. Other stations were the trouser specialist Levi’s and the consumer goods provider Procter & Gamble.
His promotion at GANT follows the farewell of Marco Dippe, who was active as Managing Director Central Region/EMEA and managing director of Gant Dach GmbH and left the brand at the end of last year.
