Thom Yorke’s supergroup The Smile is coming to Germany for a concert

Now officially again: The Smile will go, as far as Corona allows, in late spring and summer 2022 – from May to July, from Sweden to Italy – on a European tour. A concert in Germany is also planned: On May 20th, The Smile are to perform in Berlin’s Tempodrom, presented by the Musikexpress. Advance sales begin on February 4 at 11 a.m., tickets cost around 54 euros. Further information from the organizer.

The Smile are a so-called supergroup consisting of three members Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood from Radiohead and drummer Tom Skinner from Sons of Kemet. Like Radiohead, Nigel Godrich is the producer. Her debut single “You Will Never Work In Television Again” was released in early January, followed by the song “The Smoke”. At the end of January, The Smile played three live stream concerts in London. ME author André Boße took a look at one of them and provided answers to ten questions one might have about The Smile.
