At Dorpsstraat 82 and 84, workmen on behalf of the Wassenaarse Bouwmaatschappij are busy with demolition work of a former residential house. New homes will be built on the vacant lot.

The former building had been empty and dilapidated for a long time. It has been demolished and is making way for homes and retail spaces.

The construction company will replace it with a new building with two retail spaces at the front of the street. There will be two studios at the rear of the building. There will be another eight studios on the first and second floors. All homes are eligible for rental.

The first pile will be driven in January and ground and foundation work will start in mid-February. Construction will take more than a year. At a later time, it will be announced which broker will take on the rental, and what the prices and layout will be. We’ll keep an eye on it for you!
