In fact, until recently the Roxeanne Hazes went well: the familyisère does not radiate negatively at her and musically she is doing fine. But how should it go on TV?
Roxeanne Hazes has been tempted to start a TV career, but her first program on SBS 6 is not exactly a squatter. She started just before the weekend with the Holland House, in which Dutch -speaking artists all show performances. The result? About 400 thousand viewers, but mostly very old viewers.
Not hopeful
To make matters worse, Roxanne also receives negative reviews about her presentation qualities, including from Angela de Jong. Will it be fine? Do the viewing figures get a lift?
Tina Nijkamp, the TV telemo from Bathmen, is not really hopeful. “It is actually a kind of at full speed. I can’t really make it out of it. It is a kind of music party on the square, but then in a studio. Yes, of course it was not about anything, that format, should I honestly say,” she sniffs in her podcast Tina’s TV UPDATE.
‘Very low’
The program does not have much to do, according to Tina. “It was just at full speed with Chiel Montagne from the past. Artists who sing songs. Well, there was occasionally a very strange part in it, including a kind of Shown news block, which I found very strange. I think so because it is sponsored by North Sea FM.”
“I don’t think this will be what. It had about 400 thousand viewers and that is just too little of course and of course also in the target group very low and that is much more important, but it had less than 6 percent in it. So I hope for Roxeanne that it will really get better, but the format seems to me not for that.”
‘Better André’
Private star journalist Jan Uriot also finds Roxeanne a crazy choice. “Roxeanne had said goodbye to the Dutch repertoire?” He says in the podcast Strictly private.
Colleague Jordi Versteegden: “Yes, from the popular repertoire. You would have expected André Hazes as a presenter before. Rox also has to get used to: how do I do that and how do I present such a show on my own?”
Jan: “It’s a profession. It’s a profession.”
No urgency
Jordi thinks SBS 6 and Roxeanne fog fog. “What I had a bit with it … It misses a bit of the urgency to turn it on. It is Dutch -speaking singers who sing their singles, in between a quiz is presented …”
“You don’t have to stay at home and I think that is also the reason that not many people have looked at it.”
