Recommendations of the Editorial team
Die Toten Hosen will release their last regular studio album on May 29, 2026. Nine years after “Laune der Natur”, the Düsseldorf band returns with a new long player – and at the same time marks a conclusion. “Drink up, we have to go!” marks the final chapter of the Toten Hosen’s studio album history, almost 45 years after their founding in 1982.
Bonus album “Everything has to go!” with 25 cover songs
Frontman Campino describes the decision like this: “In the rehearsal room someone suddenly shouted: ‘Let’s make one last album!’ We don’t know exactly who it was – but the enthusiasm was there straight away.” The band decided to “let it all out again”.
In addition to the main album, the bonus album “Alles muss raus!” is released. Die Toten Hosen, together with artist friends, interpret 25 cover versions of songs that have shaped them. The band sees the project as a gift to themselves and their fans, and as a musical bow to long-time companions.
Cover artwork by Andreas Gursky
