Fazer’s Green Balls is one of the classic Christmas sweets. Pear-flavored marmalades are sold in boxes of different sizes, where their price per kilo varies by a few euros.
However, there is one place where Vihrei kuuli is sold at a significantly lower price per kilo than others, and that is the bulk candy shelves of well-stocked grocery stores. When bought from the bulk candy shelf, the price per kilogram of Green balls can be up to half cheaper than when bought in a box.
For example, Prisma’s Green Balls cost 7.95 euros per kilogram when bought as loose candies, while the price of the balls when bought in a box of 12 is 16.73 euros per kilogram. If there is no special use for the green box, you should buy the marmalades in bulk and put them on offer in a glass bowl, for example.

A tradition of more than a hundred years
Marmalades are Fazer’s oldest sweets. The history of the colorful Finlandia balls goes back over a hundred years: in 1902, fruit marmalades were sent to the future king of England of Edward VII to the coronation.
In 1947, Fazer sent fruit marmalades as a wedding gift to the princess For Elizabethfor the future queen.
The more than hundred-year-old tradition was continued in 2023, when Fazer sent Finlandia marmalades as a coronation gift to the king For Charles.
For this Christmas, Fazer also launched a brand new product, Glögikuulat, whose taste, as the name suggests, resembles mulled wine.
