It was exactly three years ago on Wednesday The voice was taken off the air by RTL4 due to transgressive behavior behind the scenes. Jury member Ali B and orchestra leader Jeroen Rietbergen, among others, were discredited as a result. RTL4 was apparently so ashamed that they even immediately banned the entire ‘singing talent show’ genre. The voice was replaced by ‘guess the singing panel shows’ such as I can see your voice and DNA singers.
