Children’s clothing store Little Star has been around for twelve years in The Hague. For two years you will also find this nice store in Stadshart Zoetermeer. Owner Nasir says: “We sell leisure clothing for children from zero to fourteen years old, from the smallest to the largest children’s sizes. But what we are best known for is our collection at children’s party clothing.”
An outfit for every party
At Little Star you will find everything you need for a festive outfit for your child, from the tie to the shoes. “We sell party clothing all year round, for example for weddings, birthdays or communions,” says Nasir. “We pay extra attention to special holidays, such as the Sugar Festival and the sacrificial party. For example, we sell more outfits in green and red around Christmas.”
In addition, you can also go to Little Star for everyday baby and children’s clothing, nice gifts, or just for a chat! “My wife and I work in the stores, our children sometimes help during the holidays. Recently a customer came back to tell how good he had been helped by my son the previous day, then I was really proud.”

Atmosphere is one
Nasir is used to his business in The Hague, but soon started to feel at home in the new case in Zoetermeer. “We are here in a somewhat busier environment, there is always movement. The customers who come to see here are diverse and the atmosphere is very pleasant.”
People who walk in for the first time at Little Star are pleasantly surprised. “They are impressed by our collection, you will not find these types of items in many things. Our customers are also very satisfied with our price-quality ratio. In addition, everyone notices how good the atmosphere is in the store.”
Every child a prince or princess
“The best thing about my work is that I can work with children,” says Nasir. “Young girls are very happy with all the dresses, they feel like princesses here. I think it’s nice to see them so happy. We also have many regular customers, so I really see the children grow up a bit.”
“Every time I get a positive response from a customer, I feel proud. Parents or grandfathers and grandmothers often come back to the store after the party for which they shopped here. Then they show me pictures of how beautiful the children looked and they want to talk about the nice party they have experienced. We work very personal here.
