Omelet is a quick savior of everyday life.
Chef Risto Mikkola advises an easier way to prepare an omelet even if you are used to it. Take the microwave for help. Put the scrambled eggs in a cup and microwave.
Mikkola has developed two mug omelet recipes, but cooking omelets really allows you to be creative.
Almost anything you can find in the fridge is suitable for an omelette. Keep protein, vegetable and cheese in mind. The best result is obtained when you pre-cook liquid-releasing or raw fillings (mushrooms or onions) and add the cheese only at the end.
Vegetables that are already slightly wilted also go well with the omelette. So don’t worry if the pepper has softened or the tomato has shriveled.
Risto Mikkola knows that there is sometimes a rush and adjustment in everyday life, so the omelette must also be prepared easily. Rosa Bröijer
