Tim Hofman arouses annoyance with his ‘begging’ for donations for his program BOOS. According to Evert Santegoeds, this looks very bad on him. “That tax money for the NPO seems sufficient to me.”

Lately all kinds of expressions have been popping up in which Tim Hofman asks for donations for his BOOS program. Strange, says Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden. He points it out in his podcast Strictly Private. “So now he wants extra money for that program, I think, right? We must donate.”

Ridiculous

Yes, agrees colleague Evert Santegoeds. The editor-in-chief of Privé thinks it’s ridiculous. “Yeah, I didn’t know what I was reading. I am a subscriber to the VARA guide and then you will receive a begging letter from Tim Hofman. ‘If you want more BOOS, you need money.’ Do you know what that public broadcaster costs per year, boy?!”

He continues: “That guy should just be as cheeky as he is further in life and go to his own boss and say: ‘Hello, with BOOS we have released more last year than all BNNVARA programs put together, on Even Tot Hier na, and give us budget to make more BOOS.’”

‘Don’t you?!’

Evert thinks this is not possible. “You’re not going to ask your viewer if you can please have money to make you ANGRY? I think that the 1.7 billion that goes to public broadcasting is enough to occasionally go out with a camera and make you ANGRY. No, this does not suit Tim Hofman at all. He shouldn’t do this either, he shouldn’t lend himself to this.”

He continues: “BOOS should just become a TV show, I think, if they need more money, but they shouldn’t take up a hobby on the internet, loosen up a lot and then say, ‘We don’t have the money to do it. to make.’ They have plenty of money to make it and at some point it’s just done.”

Female friend

Tim’s girlfriend, Lize Korpershoek, also begs her entire household:
