Alexander Barkov and Eetu Luostarinen collected one assist to a man in the match.

The Panthers are chasing the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, but the bad news for them was that the Pittsburgh Penguins also won their own game.

The Penguins have one point (84) more than the Panthers (83) but also one less game played.

Haula fanned

Erik Haula got his tenth goal of the season at the expense of local rival New York Rangers. Porilainen put the stage on ice and directed by Dougie Hamilton accurate pass past the Rangers defender by Igor Shestjorkin in the sixth minute of the first period.

Kapasella runs

Kasperi Kapanen the point streak was extended to four games when the St. Louis Blues beat the Chicago Blackhawks 5–3.

Kapanen shocked his chain friends Jordan Kyroun and by Sammy Blais with the Blues’ fourth, i.e. the winning goal, halfway through the third period. After the team transfer, Kapanen, cheered up, pedaled the puck into the area and shared the wing to Blais, who in turn freed Kyrou to use a snappy puck in the middle.

The goal was already the 34th of the season for the Canadian player. The Blues have nothing to do with the playoffs, even though the team’s game has gone well in the spring.

Kapanen, 26, has scored 31 power points this season (14+17) and is one power point away from last season’s tally. In the light of the power points of the forward from Kuopio, the best season is the 44 points of the first full Toronto season (2018–19).
