Donald Trump will be sworn in today as America’s 47th president. The progressive defeat, despite the support of mainstream media, was great. The British newspaper TheTelegraph examined election results in a number of democratic countries: ‘The left is more unpopular than at any time since the Cold War – except in Starmer’s Britain. Right-wing groups emerged as global winners after more than 1.5 billion people in more than 70 countries voted last year.” Elections will be held in Germany in a few weeks. The left will lose big there too.
