This is what Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero” sounds like remixed with “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”

Greg Gillis, the man behind Girl Talk, released a remix of “Anti-Hero” (Taylor Swift, 2022) and the instrumental to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” (first released on the version by Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell, 1967).

“Anti-Hero” as a soul track: That’s what the remix sounds like

Right from the start of the new creation, the beat of the soul classic makes Swift’s pop number sound more danceable. As Swift reaches the chorus on “Anti-Hero,” the famous chord chords of the chorus of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” kick in. Watch Swift’s new creation and original music video here:

The Hit “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”

Ain’t No Mountain High Enough was written in 1966 by Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson, who joined the Motown label that same year. With a cover version by Supremes frontwoman Diana Ross in 1970, the number landed another hit three years after it was first published in 1967 by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.

Gaye/Terrell’s version was the soundtrack to the films Remember the Titans (2000) and Guardians of the Galaxy (2014).

“Anti-Hero” – the first single release from Swift’s released LP

Anti-Hero debuted on Swift’s tenth studio album, MIDNIGHTS (October 21). According to the musician in an interview, the track deals with her inner insecurities: “This is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written. I don’t think I’ve ever gone into my insecurities in such depth and detail. I struggle a lot with the impression that my life is unmanageably big.”

Swift also announced her 2023 The Eras tour of America on Tuesday (November 1). You can hear their current LP MIDNIGHTS here:
