Wedding dress entrepreneur and 2018 Miss Plus Size Niina Kuhta43, has received numerous questions on social media about her bariatric surgery. Kuhta underwent sleeve surgery, i.e. stomach narrowing surgery, in November in Estonia.

Kuhta tells her social media followers that she is asked the most about eating after surgery. Now he answers the burning question Instagramin their stories, which can be seen 24 hours after publication.

– The truth is that after bariatric surgery, patients’ eating preferences change, their sense of taste and smell improves, and therefore poor quality food is given up. Eating after the procedure follows healthy eating recommendations, is versatile and contains protein-rich products, the entrepreneur says in his update.

– Fears that after the procedure you will never be able to eat anything normally again are widespread, but unfounded. Culinary pleasures, tastes and experiences remain a part of the patient’s life even after the procedure, he adds.

Kuhta cites as an example the fact that he feels less and less like french fries, for example. However, the entrepreneur has noticed that his weight is stuck in place.

– This is going to be a bit performance-oriented. There is great sadness when the weight does not fall off, although it should not be the main thing. I have to check a little, whether I’m drinking too many calories. I mainly drink aloe vera and coconut water. Just water, says Kuhta.

– I have to admit that sometimes I am so full of this phase of weight loss and life change. Couldn’t a person just act rationally and decide that now I live healthily and everything would go smoothly? I need a vacation from myself, he confesses in his later story sections.

Kuhta has spoken openly about her bariatric surgery on social media. For example, at the beginning of December, the entrepreneur said on Instagram that he weighed 101.5 kilograms before his surgery. According to Kuhta, the surgery itself cost 6,550 euros, which also includes talking with the therapist.

The entrepreneur told Iltalehti in November that he must eat pureed food for the first weeks after the operation. After that, he gets used to eating smaller portions than before.

– I used to eat irregularly and really big portions. It will now go down in history, Kuhta said.
