Do you have to keep the umbrella ready in November or can you stay dry on the streets of Zoetermeer? Floris Lafeber, meteorologist at weeronline.nl, gives the weather forecast.

In November you can first leave your thick winter coat hanging in the closet. “The month starts quite mildly. The wind often comes from the south to southwest and brings soft, moist air,” says Floris. “The temperature can therefore rise to about 13 to 16 degrees.”
Showers and rain
You’ll have to get your umbrella out. “We have to take showers and rain into account,” says Floris. “It still gets wet regularly at the beginning of November.” Halfway through the month it seems to become a little less mild: the temperature is often between 9 and 12 degrees. “It will be less wet than at the beginning of the month.”
Dry period
There are also signals of calm and less wet weather than normal at the end of November. “Although we will have a drier period, that does not mean that we should expect many hours of sunshine.” So you can just leave the sunglasses behind. “There will certainly be days that are mainly gray due to fog or low clouds.”
