This is the menu for Linna’s parties!

This year, the food served at the castle’s parties will emphasize domesticity and environmental friendliness.

The Independence Day reception will be organized as usual in the Presidential Palace on December 6. The party guests will again be able to enjoy the abundant food offerings.

The president of the Republic Sauli Niinistö and spouse Jenni Haukio hosted the Castle’s party for the last time. The special theme is the previous Independence Day receptions hosted by the presidential couple. The party table includes a popular product from each reception.

Environmental friendliness, domesticity and local food are emphasized in the servings. Game, fish, berries, vegetables and Finnish mushrooms are available. Carrot, chosen as the vegetable of 2023, can be found in vegetable sandwich cakes, among other things.

The students of Perho Liiketalousopisto are responsible for making the sandwich cakes. Students from Omnia, the Espoo region’s educational association, work in the catering duties.

Boli is made entirely of organic products.
