This is how the memory of Heikki Silvennoinen was honored in Top Gear in Finland

Actor Heikki Silvennoinen The last TV performance was shown on Saturday in the Top Gear Finland program. Silvennoinen had only participated in the program descriptions the day before his death.

The memory of Silvennoinen was respected at the end of the episode when a black background and a white text appeared on the TV screen:

– Dedicated to the memory of Heikki Silvennoinen.

In the episode, Silvennoinen was seen, among other things, in the track track section of the program. One of the program hosts, Teemu Selänneinterviewed Silvenno in the studio and asked how the man’s own mind was on the test track. Silvennoinen said he had never driven before.

Silvennoinen looked at his own performance in the studio.

– After all, the departure went great, Selänne praised.

– Well, I don’t know, that is … too quietly that, Silvennoinen estimates his performance.

Silvennoinen found room for improvement in many points.

– It’s a miserable performance, he said.

During the episode, Silvennoinen also said he had been a passionate car man since childhood.

– It must have come to me in the blood inheritance. My father was a tractor repairman at Valmet and he repaired other cars. It has a huge passion for cars. I have had maybe 55-60 cars. My teen car was my mother Fiat 600. I’m an internal combustion engineer. I’ve always loved outboard engines and everything that works out, the actor said in the episode.

Silvennoinen died at the age of 70 on Wednesday 18 December.
