During the party, The Queen could be seen with the James Bond-actor. He escorted Elizabeth who flew by helicopter to the sports stadium in London and then made her entrance by parachute. It earned the queen a standing ovation.
“The Queen had not told the family about her cooperation,” Daldry said. “When she’s inside and sits down, you see the other members of the royal family looking at her in amazement as well.” The filmmaker did say that it was difficult to keep to the secrecy. The production team was also not allowed to say anything to Buckingham Palace staffers or government employees.
