This is how it goes with our old stately town halls: the town hall of Zuidlaren

After a trip to a slightly less attractive building, namely the old town hall of Schoonebeek, the editors eagerly embrace the beauty again this time. It is found in Zuidlaren. When you visit this village you will soon come across the beautiful monument at De Millystraat 17. This building, also known as De Lariks, served as the town hall for fifty years from 1908. Sineke Matthijssen-Hogen Esch, among others, knows this Historical Association Municipality of Zuidlaren. She wrote several articles about the old municipality of Zuidlaren in De Zeven Brinken, the society’s magazine.
