We asked readers what qualities are the most important when purchasing new clothes.

By far the most important criterion is the fit of the garment, which is the most important thing for about one third of those who responded. After that, the style of the garment, the price and the need for clothing purchases were then considered the most important thing, each of which were chosen by just over ten percent of the respondents.

In the Nordic countries, even the changing weather conditions must be taken into account when dressing. Pictured is Norwegian fashion bloggers Darja Barannik and Tine Andrea. All over Press

There is some attention to the material choices of the garment and for about eight percent of the respondents, the materials are the most important criterion. For a few respondents, the origin, domesticity and ecology of the garment are of greatest importance. In addition, for a smaller group of respondents, when purchasing new clothing, the quality of the garment, the long life, the trend or the mark of the garment are the key to the purchase of new clothing.
