The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom’s Cyber Security Center warns of scam messages sent in the name of HSL, the Helsinki Region Traffic.
According to the Cyber Security Center, thousands of text messages have been sent over the past week, which will be misleadingly shown by the shipment name Hsl-r.
The purpose of the scam message is to intimidate the recipient by the HSL inspection fee, legal action and recovery conversion if the inspection fee is not paid by the date mentioned in the message. The link in the message mimics HSL’s online address.
– You should not click on the message link. The link leads to the authentication page to a fake page that fishes bank codes, the Cyber Security Center warns.
