This ice cream from Friends David and Rick is a solution for chemo patients: ‘Taste their food again’

Good food is nice and if you are very sick too, very important. Chemo patients often suffer from dry mouth after their heavy treatment. The Gouda ice cream maker David Hoppenbrouwers (37) and nutritionist Rick Stil (61) of the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC) came up with there. An ice cream whose water literally runs into your mouth. “We don’t get our fathers back, but we have to be able to do something.”
