Actor and musician Heikki Silvennoinen known Cuckold-characters will live on even after his death. Silvennoinen died on December 18 at the age of 70. Iltalehti readers could vote for who is their favorite Silvennoinen Cuckold-characters.
There were a total of 7,541 votes in the voting conducted by Iltalehti. The number one vote is news reporter Mauno Ahonen with 20 percent of the vote.
In the sketches, the character known for his potty hair and big glasses read sports news and walked around the sidelines of the fields. More often than not, Mauno also ended up at the well-known restaurant Ohranjyvä located on Näsilinnankatu.

In the voting, metal man Matti Näsä got silver with 17 percent of the votes. The left-wing figure spoke a strong Tampere dialect with a nasal voice and talked about various problems. Often at the end of his furious outburst, he uttered the words “I don’t care about anything anymore”.

The third place is shared by two figures, as they both received 10 percent of the vote. Another of the characters is the manager of the concrete company Kalervo Jankko, who is known in the Kummeli sketches as an employee of the Jankon Betoni company. He acknowledged the angry feedback of a dissatisfied customer with his iconic phrase “It’s fine.”
Eventually, however, the character lost his nerve, causing him to destroy his office. The sketch of destroying the office has become an international meme, and for example many sports clubs share the sketch on social media when the game has gone badly.

The bronze place is shared with Janko by heavy guitarist Pertti “Speedy” Keinonen, who was often seen Timo Kahilainenplayed by Sakari “Saku” in the company of Östermalm. In the sketches, the best friends dreamed of starting their own band and managed to get a recording contract.

Silvennoinen died at the age of 70 from long-term illnesses on Wednesday, December 18.
