This day Maison Kelder opens the doors of their renovated building

We can get hazelnut pastries, chocolate and bonbons again from Saturday 17 September in the historic and original building in the Dorpsstraat. After months of renovation, the store is finally ready.

Employees of Maison Kelder are busy carrying tables and other items from the temporary building to the original space. A leak in the central heating boiler caused a fire in the fuse box in 2021. Due to damage, the smell of fire and overdue maintenance, the building had to be renovated. Maison Kelder temporarily moved to a retail space across the street.

No more chocolate and ice cream

The new interior looks completely different than before. A new light wooden counter forms the centerpiece of the store. Here you will find the assortment of chocolates and bonbons in the display case. In a row of refrigerators you will find all frozen products such as cakes, pastries and savory snacks. At the back of the shop is the counter with display cases with fresh pastries. The chocolate shop and ice cream counter have not returned.

The festive opening of Maison Kelder is on Saturday 1 October. But from Saturday 17 September you can already go to the store for all your purchases.
