According to Johnny Willemsen, this year’s Christmas is among the softest ever here in the province since measurements were taken. He said this on Monday morning in the radio program KEIgoeiemorgen of Omroep Brabant.

“The weather during Christmas is cloudy, but dry,” Willemsen said. “There may be a bit of drizzle, but the main part will be dry.” The temperature is 10 or 11 degrees.

On Tuesday we have to take inclement and cold weather into account during the day. “The temperature is quite low for a large part of the day: 3 or 4 degrees with a moderate wind. It feels like it is around 0 degrees.”

At the end of Tuesday afternoon, towards Christmas Eve, the temperature will rise slightly. “On Christmas Eve it is 7 degrees.”

If you still have to do Christmas shopping, Willemsen recommends doing it this Monday. “There are a few showers today, but the sun is often shining. It will be about 8 degrees. Tuesday, on the other hand, will be a bit of a dirty day, so go today.”
