This catering business in the Dorpsstraat is expanding

Last summer a new Syrian restaurant opened in the Dorpsstraat. Now a year later, owners Maher and Rasha Alnayef are expanding their catering business.

In order to give the guests more seating space and to expand the kitchen, the owners have taken the property for rent next door.

More seating for guests

Rasha is an expert in preparing Syrian dishes and you can taste it. Many Zoetermeer residents know how to find restaurant Zaytoona for its chicken curry, fatteh, grilled vegetables, falafel, lentil soup and hairdresser sandwiches. Last year there were a few tables and chairs both inside and outside to take a seat for lunch or dinner. With the new space there is much more room for guests.

The outside terrace has also been expanded with a number of tables and chairs, but also with flower boxes and lots of greenery. “There will only be a new sign with our name across the entire width of the facade,” says Rasha. “We hope to make even more people happy with our kitchen.”
