This brasserie in the Stadshart is permanently closed

Last Saturday the last supper was at Brasserie Plein 23 on the Stadhuisplein. After two years, owner Jamie-Lee pulls the plug and focuses on the future with her young family.

On Saturday evening, regular guests could sing along to Dutch hits for the last time. At 02:00 the party was really over and the brasserie closed its doors for good. After coffee shop Bruut, this is the next catering business to close the tent.

Time for the little one

Owner Jamie-Lee van Kleef – van der Spek is heavily pregnant and will give birth to a son in a few weeks. She wants to be a full-time mother for her child and possibly make new business plans. In a premium interview with AD Zoetermeer let them know that the brasserie is not bankrupt, but that the corona period has killed her.

Don’t sit still

Jamie-Lee has been a well-known catering entrepreneur in the center of Zoetermeer for years. She used to be the owner of sandwich shop Broodje voor weg in de Passage. Just before the corona period, she opened her brasserie Plein 23. This enterprising lady does not sit still, so who knows what new plans she will come up with.
