Meppen is back – Sukuta-Pasu scores
Meanwhile, SV Meppen was back on the road to success in Verl. After two opening bankruptcies in 2022, the Emslanders celebrated a 1-0 away win and moved up to fifth place. Richard Sukuta-Pasu was the man of the day from the point of view of the Meppen team. In the 59th minute, the attacker scored the winning goal for the SVM after some nice work from Morgan Faßbender.
Otherwise, both teams worked out hardly any scoring chances in a weak game. The Meppen team defended their narrow lead in front of 750 spectators with great concentration. A second goal by Sukuta-Pasu was disallowed for offside (72′).
