Thieves strike at a couple of octogenarians in Lubbeek: “My grandmother was watching TV while everything was being searched”

A burglary on the Kalenberg in Lubbeek, Flemish Brabant, has left a deep impression on a couple aged 81 and 85. While the resident was watching television downstairs on Saturday evening, thieves entered the upstairs through a window. “It has come a long way in our society when people steal from people of that age,” grandson Nick Janssens-Verheyden reacts excitedly.
