These West Flemings ride the Tour de France 2022
AG2R Citroën is counting on for the Tour de France Stan Dewulf† The cycling team reported this on Thursday. Greg Van Avermaet is not in the selection there. The Belgian Alpecin-Fenix is hunting for stage victories with Mathieu van der Poel and Jasper Philipsen. West Flemish Guillaume Van Keirsbulck and Edward Planckaert should help with that. World champion Julian Alaphilippe is missing, as are the new national champions Florian Sénéchal (France) and Mark Cavendish (Great Britain). Fabio Jakobsen will start as the leader for the flat stages with the Belgian WorldTour team. The Dutchman has already scored ten times this season and is therefore the most successful sprinter of the spring.
