PSV and Vitesse joined the last sixteen teams in the Conference League on Thursday. That brings the total number of Dutch clubs in the eighth finals of the new European tournament to four, because Feyenoord and AZ already managed to qualify as group head before the winter break.

The clubs will know on Friday who they will be linked to, because then the draw will take place at 1 p.m. PSV and Vitesse cannot be linked to Feyenoord and AZ as survivors of the intermediate round, because clubs from the same country cannot meet each other in this phase of the tournament.

Because AZ and Feyenoord finished at the top of their group before the winter, they receive a seeded status from UEFA. PSV and Vitesse, who dealt with Maccabi Tel Aviv and Rapid Wien on Thursday evening, disappear in the draw in a bin with unseeded clubs.

The matches in the eighth finals will be played on March 10 and 17. PSV and Vitesse start with a home game, Feyenoord and AZ start outside.

Possible opponents of PSV and Vitesse:

1. AA Gent (Bel)
2. LASK Linz (Austria)
3. AS Roma (Ita)
4. FC Copenhagen (Den)
5. Stade Rennes (Fra)
6. FC Basel (Switzerland)

Possible opponents of Feyenoord and AZ:

1. Slavia Prague (Ch)
2. Leicester City (Eng)
3. Olympique Marseille (Fra)
4. Partizan Belgrade (Ser)
5. FK Bodø/Glimt (Noo)
6. PAOK (Gri)
