Seven Dutch universities have been hit by a cyber attack on Instructure, the company behind educational software Canvas. The umbrella organization of the Universities of the Netherlands (UNL) reports that this concerns the University of Amsterdam, the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the Erasmus University Rotterdam, Tilburg University, the Eindhoven University of Technology, Maastricht University and the University of Twente.
