On July 30th, members of Black Sabbath, Metallica and other rock stars gathered to say goodbye to the rock legend Ozzy Osbourne. The funeral service took place in the closest family base on the Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne estate in Buckinghamshire, England. The rock legend died on July 22nd at the age of 76 in the circle of his family.

Emotional farewell words

“Ozzy’s service was a wonderful homage. There were tears and a lot of laughter,” a family friend told “The Sun”. Around 110 people took part. Marilyn Manson wrote on X after the ceremony: “Today we wore a beloved friend. I am infinitely grateful that you let me in your life, ozzy. Your inspiration and love stay with me. Thanks to Sharon and family for the venerable, beautiful ceremony. Your legacy continues.”

Access to the property was closed from 1 p.m. The guests received simple black invitations with a cross and the lettering “In Loving Memory of Ozzy Osbourne”. Shuttlebuses were organized by nearby hotels to transport visitors. The ceremony started at 3 p.m. and security forces ensured a smooth process.
