These ex-internationals participate in the New Year’s competition in Haarlem

Now that the annual New Year’s competition is getting closer, it is becoming clear who will be playing. A number of former international players have promised to come to Spanjaardslaan. Michael Reiziger, the national coach of the Dutch Juniors, is among others.

Stefanie van der Gragt, Michael Reiziger, Dyanne Bito, Aron Winter, Leonne
Stentler, Stan Valckx and Denny Landzaat participate in the competitions. It was previously announced that Nigel de Jong, director of top football at the KNVB, is participating.

Michael Reiziger is currently the national coach of the Dutch Juniors. He played three times at a European Championship and played once at a World Cup. Aron Winter, European champion in 1988 with the Dutch team, can also be admired on the field of Royal HFC.

Lionesses

Andries Jonker and Vera Pauw are the women’s coaches. Stefanie van der Gragt, women’s football manager at AZ since last year, will play with the women. Van der Gragt concluded her international career last year at the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. Leonne Stentler is currently an analyst at the NOS and has played 16 international matches for the Dutch team in the past.

Next Saturday the match between the former Lionesses and the Royal Haarlem All Stars will kick off at 12 noon. The men will play against the Royal HFC Classical Veterans from 2:30 PM.
