Are liters of water, aspirins and raw eggs the best medicine against a hangover? Not if it’s up to Comédienne and presenter Christel de Laat. Every year she comes up with a new delicacy that helps you get rid of your wooden head.

This time she also came up with a special creation. A kind of fried hot dog, but with frikandel, white bread, and a big blob of mayonnaise of course. In the video we explain how to make this anti-hangover snack at home.

Ingredients
For four pieces:

  • Four white sandwiches
  • Two eggs
  • Mayonnaise
  • Friet spices (better known as fries herbs in supermarkets)
  • Four skewers
  • Two fried frikandels
  • Optional: breadcrumbs

Explanation recipe

1. Cut the crusts from the sandwiches. You can make breadcrumbs from the crusts by drying them in the oven and then aiming in the blender. But if you have breadcrumbs in the house, it is easier, of course.

2. Take a rolling pin or a bottle of beer and roll the sandwiches flat.

3. Take the mayonnaise and spread it out over the sandwich.

4. Take a frikandel and cut it by half. Place it on a sandwich and roll it in tightly. Then roll your frikandel roll well over the shelf so that it is nice and closed.

5. Then you grab two plates. You put two beaten eggs on one on one, sprinkle some breadcrumbs in the other plate. Mix this with a few gadgets of fries herbs.

6. Paint your frikandel role on a skewer and roll it through the beaten egg. Then you roll it through your breadcrumbs mixture.

7. Put a frying pan with oil on the heat and wait until it is hot. If it does not immediately crackle if you put the frikandeldog in it, it is not warm enough.

9. Now bake your anti-hangover lollipops until they are golden brown.
