Four twins born in Oploo in nine months
In Oploo they were recently delighted with a real baby boom of twins. In less than a year, four twins were born in the small church village where only about 1800 people live. The brand new parents are very proud of their eight little ones and went to each other on a maternity visit.

Harrie became grandfather and great-grandfather on the same day
70-year-old Harrie van Buul experienced something unprecedented: in one day he became grandfather and great-grandfather. On August 3, both his granddaughter Nena-Mae and his great-grandson Jordan were born. Harry was completely bewildered. “That I can still experience this, it is wonderful!”
Mandy and Arie unexpectedly had triplets
They had one son and wanted another brother or sister for him. But with the arrival of their triplets, Mandy (30) and Arie (28) Pronk from Halsteren suddenly have four children. For a moment, the couple was completely taken aback when they heard from the midwife that three children could be seen at the ultrasound.
Then they immediately got to work. Three maxi cosi’s, three rockers and three cots. Everything in triplicate. Fortunately, it all fit in the house. Only the car had to be exchanged for a larger one.

Suppose you are born and you not only have a mother and grandmother, but also a great-grandmother and even a great-great-grandmother. It happened to the Morpey-Van Gemert family from Uden and Schaijk.
Five generations of women, that obviously had to be immortalized during a photo shoot. And so the 96-year-old great-great-grandmother Bea embraced her brand new great-great-granddaughter Eline for the first time.
All birthdays on the same day
At Joost and Nicole from Uden it is triple cake every year and just as much long-will-she-live. Because not only is the couple’s birthday on the same day, their daughter Bobbi was also born on that day. “You don’t take that into account when you say; we want a baby,” says a smiling Joost.
And even though the new parents initially wanted their daughter to have her own birthday, it later turned out to be quite practical to celebrate it on one day. “From that moment on we liked it extra.”
