It has been noticeably inferior to the iPhone 14 Pro Max

It has also been inferior to other Android terminals such as the Nubia

For the first time in many years, the Galaxy S series has unified its processors around the world. Now the Exynos versions have disappeared at the top of the range and will only be used Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 modified exclusively for the Korean brand. Thus, it receives the name “Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Samsung Galaxy” to show the exclusivity of the brand.

Thus, the processor and graphics are ‘overclocked’ to give better performance than phones that have the same chip. However, it seems that the difference is very large. The SD 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy has the same configuration of CPU with 1x Cortex-X3, 2x Cortex-A715, 2x Cortex-A710 and 3x Cortex-A510but the main core Cortex-X3 runs at 3.36 GHz instead of 3.2 GHz. The same goes for the GPU: the Adreno 740 runs at 719 MHz instead of the usual 680 MHz.

In the benchmark Samsung’s overclocked system hasn’t performed particularly well. has been surpassed by iPhone 14 Pro Max and by the ZTE nubia Red Magic 8 Pro, whose processor was not overclocked. For this reason, it seems that the Samsung terminal would lack optimization.
