These are the cheapest gas stations per province | Car

Refueling will become considerably more expensive from 1 July because the excise duty on car fuels will increase. Those who live in Overijssel are lucky. Research by mobility pass provider MultiTankcard shows that the cheapest way to refuel is in that province. Prices are therefore likely to remain the lowest there.

MultiTankcard has analyzed the average fuel prices in the period from 1 May to 20 June. The conclusion: in Overijssel it is cheapest to fill up with Euro 95 (E10) and diesel. In particular at Roeleveld-Roling in Denekamp. The average liter price for Euro 95 in the period 1 May to 20 June averaged ‘only’ 1.66 Euro. For a liter of diesel you lost an average of 1.35 euros in the same period.

Prices up to two euros possible

After the excise duty cut in 2022 as a result of persistent inflation, an unfavorable exchange rate, the scarcity as a result of the war in Ukraine and the resulting rising liter prices, the price at the pump is almost back to the level it was before the reduction. Although the increase in excise duty is not equal to last year’s reduction, prices at the pump will rise again. There is therefore a good chance that liter prices will once again exceed two euros.
