These are the 50 most valuable vinyl records in the world

Records are experiencing a real renaissance. Now this isn’t really new news. Vinyl sales have been increasing for years and are now even catching up with CD sales. However, attention is now increasingly focused on older vinyl albums, which are very rare and for this reason become more valuable from year to year.

Some buyers may not even be aware of the treasures that are gathering dust in the attic. For this reason, the Australian insurance company Noble Oak, together with Ian Shirley, editor of the Record Collector’s Rare Record Price Guide, has compiled a list of the 50 most valuable records in the world. Only recordings that were commercially available, with a few exceptions, were taken. There are also some surprises.

Of course, the Beatles and the Stones are at the top of the list. “That’ll Be The Day” and “In Despite All The Danger” by The Quarrymen, the band founded by John Lennon and four school friends in 1956, are selling for $354,000 on the market. It’s just unfortunate that Paul McCartney won’t be releasing the only copies that exist. Maybe you own a vinyl single of Elvis Presley’s debut, “That’s All Right.” You would still get over $12,000 for that. You can find all other prices HERE.
