Wisdom is a Laysan albatross at least 71 years old. This makes it the oldest wild bird in the world – as far as known. Wisdom was ringed in 1956 and was recently spotted again on Thanksgiving Day in the Midway Islands U.S. Wildlife Reserve. It must be said: the grandmother still looks spry.
