The rather inconspicuous superstar Phil Collins never actually missed self -irony. He himself jokes that, although he works as he looks, he has become as well known. In an interview, the singer surprised by talking about things that are pretty much on his eggs. The “Sunday Times” said Collins that he was not a fan of Miami (although he lives there). Besides, he does not like to be addressed with his first name – it always says “Phil”. But the most disturbing the Causa Paul McCartney.
“Hey, our little Phil is a Beatles fan!”, Paul McCartney is said to have commented at a meeting in Buckingham Palace in 2002 when Phil Collins expressed a signing request.
“I haven’t forgotten that until today,” said the approximately 1.70 meter tall musician. “You fuck, you fuck.”
Text:
“I Met Him Whe I Was Working at the Buckingham Palace Party Back in 2002. McCartney Came Up with Heather Mills and I had a first edition of the Beatles, by Hunter Davies, and I Said, ‘Hey, Paul, Do You Mind Signing This For Me?’ And he Said, ‘Oh, Heather, Our Little Phil’s a bit of a Beatles fan.’ And i thought, ‘You fuck, you fuck.’ Never forgot it. ”
Paul McCartney a show -off?
In general, Phil Collins accuses the Beatle of being a show -off:
“He lets this cause out there: he lets you feel that because of his Beatles past, he had to be intimidating that it was hard to have a conversation with him.”
The paths of the two singers had last crossed in Live Aid in London in 1985. Funnily enough, one of the first known jobs that Phil Collins took over as a musician was – initially not mentioned by name – for a beatle. Collins played Percussions on George Harrison’s album “All Things Must” from 1971.
