Alexander Barkov has recovered to playing condition.

Coach of the Florida Panthers Paul Maurice said his captain will be fit for next night’s playoff game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Barkov hurt himself in the previous game. The striker left the match already in the opening set. Florida announced that Barkov suffered a lower body injury.

The panther pack has a chance to decide the match series. With a win, it would advance to the Stanley Cup finals. The place in the final was the club’s second in its history. In the spring of 1996, it was left licking its fingers against Colorado.

Barkov has scored 12 (4+8) power points in the spring playoffs. Barkov, one of the Panthers’ most important players, scored 78 points in 68 games in the regular season.
