The NBA team Portland Trail Blazers has traded its club legend Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks. Adrian Wojnarowski, ESPN’s insider, tells about it.

In the Bucks, Lillard joins an already strong team, which is starred by Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The 33-year-old Lillard has played his entire career in Portland. However, the team is in a miserable mess, so a new address was sought for the back man, where to aim for the NBA championship.

The transfer saga was one of the hottest topics of the summer in the league. Lillard previously openly said he wanted to join the Miami Heat, and the Heat were seen as the Trail Blazers’ most likely trade partner for a long time.

The American star is a big investment from the Bucks, as his salary last season was no less than 42.5 million dollars, or about 40.5 million euros.

Lillard moved in a giant trade involving three teams. Trail Blazers got Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Toumani Camaran and booking shifts. The third party of the trade Phoenix Suns got Jusuf Nurkic, by Grayson Allen, Nassir Little and Keon Johnson.

However, the Trail Blazers are not going to keep Holiday, but are already looking for a new taker for the back man, Wojnarowski says.
