There should be many more separate cycle paths in cities: ‘Reducing speed to 30 km/h is insufficient’

To reduce the high number of cycling accidents, municipalities must completely redesign roads and cycle paths in the coming years. Lowering the speed to 30 kilometers per hour within built-up areas often does not make sufficient impact, says the Foundation for Scientific Research on Road Safety (SWOV).
