Icarabinieri caught a 60-year-old who was taking possession of a few tens of euros in the act. The clumsy attempt to hide under the counter is useless

A man, a sixty-year-old resident of Massa, was arrested on charges of aggravated theft. On the night between Thursday and Friday in La Spezia, he attempted to remove the cash fund of the bar owned by Francesca Costa, mother of Nicolò Zaniolo. The criminal had broken into the Costa Bar, located in Largo Fiorillo, a few steps from the La Spezia seafront, forcing the entrance door with a metal bar.

While he was trying to take possession of the booty of a few tens of euros, he was interrupted by the arrival of the Carabinieri, who caught him in the act. The 60-year-old tried to hide under the counter, but was joined by the military who arrested him. The robber was accused of aggravated theft and his arrest was validated by the Court of La Spezia.
